I agree with you about the spirit of India and the changes we have seen in how Indians have reacted to this tragegy. India will succeed in the technology race, but it is the more "humane face" of our youth that is what is really heartening. An outstanding article. A very moving piece indeed. When we declare to the world that we can "cope with the disaster without external help" I think it is an ode to these people that we actually might almsot do so, whatever coping means.
