Second day

Here's something that surprises me, when I think about it. The last time I watched a day of Test cricket in a stadium was also the first time I watched. And when was this momentous day? One day during this Test. Yes, that many years ago. For some reason, I have a distinct memory of the third India debutant in that match getting bowled, though I don't remember which of his two times being bowled it was. Didn't matter, the poor guy never played for India again.

Anyway, I've watched several Ranji Trophy matches since, some women's matches, a day of veteran's cricket from a horribly crowded stand, even blind cricket. But never another day of Test cricket.

So I'm wondering. I'm going to be in Bangalore for a week starting two days from now (March 24), during the Pakistan-India Test there. I've been too disorganized and preoccupied to try to get tickets to the match. Anyone got an extra ticket (or two) to spare so I can watch, live, only the second day of Test cricket in my life? And who knows, perhaps the third, fourth...?

Boy,

A quarter of the number of comments/replies that two posts down evoked would help set things rolling eh ... :-)

No seriously, if you get anywhere near that number of responses for this post, you're guaranteed a career in test-match watching, what?

PS: SERIOUSLY, that was a LONG TIME ago ... are you sure cricket existed then? :D OK too many wisekraks a day can a Kraktik kill ...
