It's only when you get to a certain age that you can say this: "I'm visiting a place I last saw 36 years ago!" I'm at that age, I guess, because I can say it, and this time tomorrow I should be nearing one such place: a school I spent a couple of years at and have never gone back to.
So is it a depressing reminder of grey hairs and time passing by, this weight of 36 years? Not at all. I feel curiously charged. I have the geography of the place imprinted still in my mind, snapshotted from when I was 9 years old. How accurate will that snapshot be? What will have changed in a generation that's passed? Will I see myself, sitting solemnly in the line to get my hair cut under the banyan tree?

Can we have details of the meeting regards selling of editorial space. Curious to know the details.
Another thing - This week commemorates 30 years of the emergency. Any article/thoughts regrding that?
Nikhil, would love to post about the editorial space discussion, as well as about the emergency. Will have to wait, though. I'm travelling and right now am on a VERY SLOW connection in southern AP. If I get a better connection in TN next week and have the time, maybe then -- otherwise on my return to Bom in mid July. Thanks for your reminder.
