Riots in FRance are entering their 12th day and it is threatening to engulf all of Europe. Note the deafening silence of the secular brigade. Where are the secular essay prize winners? Unless they are making up excuses for the rioters : discrimination, anger at the Iraq war, marginalisation etc etc. Never mind the fact that these people are immigrants from famine stricken lands. BTW so far there are no reports of any Hindutva types agitating and burning cars.

Simple question: If you have so much contempt for the author, why do you read every column he writes?

Actually I have read only a couple of articles by the writer and have been visiting this blog only for the last 2-3 days. But I have seen enough to form an opinion on him.He is seems to be a part of the India hating leftist brigade that I hate so much.

Did the author appoint you as his spokesperson? Or this shameless plugging is in anticipation of a prize for your essay like Uma?

Maybe the author should post his rants for a private group if he can't handle critisim.

Raj: Your analysis on this author is on the mark.
