Grows awesomely
"To the degree that the nations of the world allow themselves to be lulled by the claim that the elimination of hundreds of thousands of their fellows is an internal affair, to that degree will our moral courage be bankrupt and our humane concern for others a thin veneer. Our responsibility grows awesomely with the death of each innocent man, woman and child."
US Senator William Proxmire (Democrat, Wisconsin), 1968

Dilip - in the US any noun can be verbed; so apparently any adjective can be adverbed.
("Awesome" itself is I think an americanism -- the word used to be "awful" but the latter now has negative connotations.)
Akshay - whats the connection to this post?
Rahul, actually I just thought it was an interesting quote, I hadn't even noticed the adverbing of awesome! Proxmire was quite a guy, and akshay links to the Golden Fleece Awards that he initiated.
The quote is from one of his 3500+ speeches on the floor of the Senate urging US ratification of the Genocide Convention.
