One like that

This should be easy. Fill in the blank:
If I could play an innings like that, I'd be a proud man, ______.
Also, who said it, and when?

***

I guess it wasn't that easy! The blank is "Stan", referring to the great Australian batsman Stan McCabe. It was said by his captain, one Don Bradman, when McCabe returned to the pavilion after his famous 232 in the first Test against England at Trent Bridge, 1938. That was widely considered McCabe's finest performance.
