Plain Speaking, again
Some days ago, I mentioned (here) the book release function in Chennai of Plain Speaking, by my grandfather AN Sattanathan, edited and annotated by my cousin Uttara Natarajan.

Where can I find the book? The Orient Longman page has a "buy online" link to fabmall, but the link is broken, and fabmall doesn't list the book. Nor do a few other online booksellers I looked at. I didn't spot it in a bookshop the other day. I could ask my librarian at work to get it, but an online link would be nice.
Rahul, it's in the book stores, perhaps you have to ask for it. We've bought it here in Bombay.
Via Google, it seems to be available at Vedams, Scholars Without Borders, Akhil Books. Some of those priced in dollars, but anyway, there you are.
Check Landmark in Chennai?
Hm -- didn't think of googling... but Vedam's dollar price is steep, so are SWB's shipping charges, and Akhil is inaccessible. Will call Landmark (they're not very nearby for me) or ask my librarian...
Thx for the link, Dilip. Rahul, I bought my copy from Strand Bookshop here in Mumbai. They have a website, perhaps you could order the book from there.
Dilip - Landmark did have it, I picked it up today... Odyssey (a big bookshop near where I live) didn't. Uma - Strand didn't list it online.
I just finished reading this book.It really made me feel very sad. Never read any books that explains the Social life of un previllaged ppl with minute details like this one.. And it ends abrubtly. :(
