Is he married yet?

Some stuff I've written in the past, I don't much like any more. Some other stuff, I'm indifferent to. Then there are the essays I like, that I'm glad I wrote, even if sometimes inexplicably.

Is he married yet? is one from that last category. (Parts of it have been in this space in different forms, but I put them together and massaged a bit to produce this essay). Thought I'd share it.
