BV and PM, if you ask twice, I can hardly refuse. So: Not the Queen of Gulbarba.
1. The middle para in there, the liberal definition of conservative, read rather close in tone to how a conservative would define a liberal. Maybe one needs to hold to those definitions to pass as a liberal.
Reminds me of your thesaurus quote: stick_in_the_mud, reactionary, closed-minded etc.
... in a post where you accused conservatives of attacking liberals or calling them names :-)
2. Elitism: Slightly surprising. I kind of agree with Anand from the earlier comment thread:
"Being elite due to intelligence or entrepreneurship is different from being elite because of one's caste or inherited wealth."
