- 'Our bowlers won it for us'
Hyderabad, April 23
Delhi team captain Virender Sehwag says his bowlers won the match for the team against Hyderabad.
Sehwag gave full credit to the bowlers, who destroyed the mighty batting line-up of the rivals. "Our bowlers won the match for us. Mohammed Asif, Glenn McGrath and Farveez Maharoof bowled really well to contain Deccan Chargers to less than 150 runs which was chaseable," he told newsmen in his post-match comments late Tuesday.
He, however, said he was not disappointed over missing the century. "I didn't even know my score. I am happy that my team has won," he said.
The Delhi skipper, however, said it was only a beginning, as the team has to play another 12 matches in the IPL. "It is just the beginning. Any team can win the tournament," he said.

Alert readers -- such as yourself yourself -- will note that this is not the first time Sehwag has shown such skills. Check Congratulations Virender Sehwag.

The Hindustan Times obviously belielves in driving the point home really hard!
:D
real good real good real good...
Either Viru is old or the reporter. Or perhaps they like their echo echo echo. Did I tell you Viru or the reporter could be senile? yes, they are very old.
Amazing, your ability to spot such unusual reports.
Viru was right: "It is just the beginning." The HT probably truncated the original article, which is infinitely long and needs to be printed on a Moebius strip.
the porter was summoned to the editor's office today and as punishment asked to peat a 1000 times he would never peat the mistake again once more afresh anew.
did you see Sehwag hit 6 sixes? He hit only the middle one the rest, I believe, were replays. (Delhi won the match in replays!)
I thought you had nothing to do with the IPL. I had liked that stand for the BCCI is an absolute loser to deal with the ICL the way they did it.
Writing this blogpost gives the IPL publicity, doesn't it?
