Dilip,

Happy one-year blog anniversary. As our friend would say, "Your blog anniversary shows one thing crystal clearly: taxation is wrong, the government is bad, privatization is good, and taxes are bad." Or something along those lines.

Great! In recent months, not a single day has passed without discussing your blog posts either at home (with R) or at work (with another R).

Wish you a lot more blogging. Same time, wish you find less of what you mostly write about in your future visits all over India.

And a li'l greeting from distant Austin too!

OT:I went to a live music thing last weekend (good ol'e rock). It was awesome and Austin is really weird :) Will be back with more on it later.

Hey all of you, thanks! Didn't expect such a stroking of the old ego, but who am I kidding, I'm thrilled.

Anand, please say hi to both the home R and the work R. Suhail, I may never ever forgive you for saying Austin is weird ... then again, this is a -versary, and then again, maybe it is sort of weird...

Thanks again.

Congrats Dilip. Being one of your international readers I wish that more people read your wonderful writings.

As we are having less and less time to read books, and are prone to reading more blogs, professional writers/blogger like you can be a good recluse.

Happy blog birthday Dilip. The nice thing about the Indian blogosphere is that it is still small enough to know some great bloggers. I suppose that won't be true in a year or two.

I am your blog grandfather, Dilip. :)

(I'm sure you'll ask why.)

OK MadMan, I'll bite. Why?

Thanks Patrix and Mike: may I say I enjoy reading you guys too.
