The first thing

    When a woman became [politically] active, the first thing people would say was, she has questionable morals.

Are you reading the book ? How did you like it ? I've bought it, but am yet to read it. Lovely hard-bound edition. The few pages I cursorily read left me quite impressed. Some very moving stuff there.
