It is quite sad how we are still treating the DT's. It is a vicious cycle, more the mainstream society rejects them, more they get pushed into crime.

btw, it seems it is their illegal brewing which has brought them their limited prosperity? True?

The article says CRUSADE on top. Your mullah friends aren't going to be pleased.

Didn't get the connection with liberalization, except that the life of the tribe may have improved post-liberalization. Are you sure this is the message you wanted to convey?

--Going by the posts on the Other India, all these problems of poverty have begun post - liberalisation. You see -everything was ok until the evil free marketeers came along and pushed all these guys into poverty.

BTW if there is a reality check because we are 15 years into liberalisation, what about a reality check more than 50 years after impementing reservations or 15 years after Mandal
