Read somewhere on the web that there was a plagiarism thing with a Bugs Bunny version of this (with a mouse also). Apparently the Bugs Bunny version is more interesting but haven't seen it.

sbrk is right! "Cat Concerto" won the 1946 Oscar.
I haven't seen "Rhapsody Rabbit", but this one is a classic, and if that's supposed to be even better, it must splendid indeed!
